Ms. Rashmi Rai

Ms Rashmi Rai is a Clinical Psychologist (M.Phil Clinical Psychology, RCI registered). I have extensive training in conducting and evaluating psychometric assessment, and offering psychotherapies including Behavior Therapy, Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Family therapy, Couple and marriage counseling, Schema focused therapy and Mindfulness based interventions (viz. MBCT, MBSR, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, DBT therapy). My interest area lies in providing assistance and support in a holistic approach with advanced psychotherapeutic techniques.My general style includes working on thought processes to experience the inherent riches of human life. I provide the tools necessary to move forward in current life no matter what recent stressors may be. I believe in discovering the root causes of problems that affect current well-being. I am more focused on providing effective psychological tools and techniques to bring about changes I want to experience in life and making myself capable enough to be able to discover solutions to all problems. My passion for my field made me explore the world of psychotherapy and gave me motivation to work as a Psychotherapist. I have contributed in the field of research as well and published a couple of research papers in international journals. I believe in focusing on one’s strengths as much as one’s struggles. I am compassionate and a truly dedicated listener. Together, I believe I can work with a client in a collaborative way to make positive changes.
